Capital Projects Engineer

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement capital projects to enhance environmental compliance, safety, quality, and operational service levels.

Support floor teams and daily operations, addressing urgent line-down issues.

Lead mechanical and electrical engineering efforts, managing CapEx projects up to $1M. Projects vary in nature from mechanical to electrical scopes.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors, ensuring timely project delivery and strategic execution.

Mentor and coach experienced maintenance personnel, fostering leadership and team development.

Manage hiring and training of new staff during departmental rebuilds.

Operate in a 24 / 5 manufacturing environment with maintenance on Fridays; occasional extended hours may be required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (EET or similar).

Minimum 5 years of experience preferred; 3+ years acceptable with strong skill set.

Strong mechanical aptitude; leadership potential considered.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00 / yr.
