This position is in Cargills protein and salt business where we provide wholesome high-quality food products to a wide range of customers from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Job time : Full Time

Shift : Rotational

Compensation : $21 / hr

Principal Accountabilities :

  • Performing warehouse operations such asloading / unloading trucks lifting box stacking boxes handling product palletizing & scanning labels into inventory etc.
  • Interacting regularly with peers and management
  • Operating forklifts and rideable pallet jacks
  • Understanding and adhering to all food safety policies safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal / written)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 80lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous Stand up Forklift experience
  • Ability to work indoors in a cold environment throughout the shift to fulfill orders with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays nights weekends or different shifts with advance notice

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in warehouse or production environment
  • Previous experience in coldor refrigerator environment
