Project Manager

Job Title : Project Manager

Location : Madison, WI (Hybrid 2-3 days / week onsite)

Duration : 12 months

Contract Type : W2 only

Pay Rate : $70 - $80 / Hour

The Senior Project / Program Manager within Sales Strategy & Support is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional business initiatives that drive strategic value for the organization. This role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects or programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, stakeholder expectations, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage large-scale projects or programs from initiation through delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, product owners, IT, operations, finance, and external partners.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Monitor and report on project / program performance using KPIs and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, insurance regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to update standard work and best practices.

Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of experience in project / program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Teams, Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with agile and waterfall project methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
  • Strong / proven leadership skills (ability to lead, and direct dynamic cross-functional teams)
  • Highly organized; strong planning skills; work proactively and with urgency; deadline driven.
  • Perseveres through ambiguity.
  • Additional Skills :

  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Change management and organizational development experience.
  • Experience in the financial services industry a plus but not required.
  • Strong change management experience.
  • Strong process orientation.
  • Artifact creation and communication.
  • Works well independently.
  • PMP certification a plus but not required.
