Location : Sandy, Oregon
Employment Type : Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule : Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM)
Compensation : $90,000 to $100,000 + benefits
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedics and acute care, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans for patients across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics.
Work Setting : Orthopedic Outpatient (On-site)
Patient Volume : 1-2 Patients per hour
Essential Functions :
- Evaluate patients using appropriate tests, measurements, clinical observation, and subjective information provided by the patient.
- Develop individual patient treatment goals and activities based on evaluation of patient data and demographics.
- Administer treatment to improve and maintain function and evaluate the effects of treatment with consistent re-evaluation through patient subjective and appropriate tests and measures.
- Instruct, motivate, educate, and assist patients to perform the prescribed treatment plan.
- Document treatment, response, and progress results in a chart in a timely way.
- Communicate with medical practitioners to obtain additional information, suggest treatment revisions, and integrate therapy alternatives into patient's care.
- Maintain patient records in accordance with State and Federal guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and company policies.
- Meet all continuing education, licensing, and compliance requirements as set forth by the APTA and state guidelines.
Requirements
Degree : Master's degree in physical therapyEducation : Graduate from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).Experience : As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.Licensure : Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist.Basic Life Support Certification : Required (in person course with American Red Cross or American Heart Association)=Benefits
