Electrical Engineers

Selectek is seeking Electrical Engineers on a contract-to-permanent basis. Our partnering company, located near Braselton, Georgia, needs candidates with backgrounds in heavy equipment or bulk material handling projects.

Employment Type : Contract-to-Permanent

Expected Pay Range : $33.65-$45.67 hourly, depending on experience, before permanent conversion

Location : Athens, Georgia

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) - At least one year of field experience, preferably working with overhead cranes and runway systems - 2D and 3D design experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, or other CAD design programs - Experience performing design calculations - Ideal candidates have some knowledge of structural and mechanical engineering as well

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details :

  • Creating engineering models, drawings, and designs for electrical systems specific to overhead cranes and runway systems - Analyze customer specs to design equipment consistent with the customer's needs - Produce technical drawings with appropriate dimensioning and tolerancing components - Generate detailed calculations to support the development of overhead bridge cranes and their runways - Prepare packages to estimate the cost of projects, including bill of materials and parts lists

    • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00a-5 : 00p with a hybrid schedule possible once candidates complete the onboarding and start-up phase
