Service Division Manager (HVAC)

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of commercial HVAC experience servicing, repairing and installing commercial heating, ventilation & air conditioning; heat pumps; refrigeration systems.

The position includes assisting and supervising service technician(s), project estimating and sales, customer relations, and hands-on service work as well including preventive maintenance service, emergency service, repairs and installations. Hourly wage based on skill level and experience. Some overtime should be expected based on work load.

Requirements :

• Universal CFC certification is HVAC Lic Pref
• 10yrs of HVAC Service Management Experiance
• Must have led a HVAC Service team or Department
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls required.
• Excellent communication and Customer Relations skills.
• Leadership or Supervisory experience preferred.
• Backflow Testing certification a plus.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully. Some state-wide travel may be expected with some overnight stays but very infrequently. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, within a diverse team is very important.

Must be able to read, write and understand technical specifications, manufacturer’s documentation, & engineering plans. Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, and all building trades. Must be able to safely access construction sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other areas where equipment might be.
