Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive training using various methods, including instructor-led and virtual sessions, e-learning modules, self-guided learning, on-the-job instruction, and supporting training materials. Lead and supervise hands-on Ground Handling classroom sessions and OJT, including conducting final assessments and sign-offs as required. Adhere to Corporate and Training Policies and Procedures, operating all equipment in alignment with Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Actively monitor daily operations to identify and promote best practices across the station. Support internal quality assurance efforts by conducting operational audits and related activities. Continuously evaluate training effectiveness to ensure employees are fully competent and confident in performing their duties. Ensure the station maintains full compliance with regulatory and company training requirements. Build strong working relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs) to maintain the relevance and accuracy of training content. Serve as a role model by demonstrating best-practice behaviors, safety standards, and operational procedures. Provide constructive, objective feedback and coaching to enhance employee performance and behavior. Accurately document and report all training activities through approved tracking systems. Provide support to nearby stations as needed. Forecast, plan, and coordinate new-hire and recurrent training needs by partnering closely with Regional Training Managers, HR, and Operations teams. Deliver and facilitate both initial and recurrent training in accordance with global and local standards. Administer required assessments, examinations, and reports to maintain compliance with all training program requirements. Assist with new-hire onboarding and tracking to ensure a seamless transition into operations. Support on-the-job coaching programs and act as a first-line resource for certified local coaches. Maintain operational currency and stay current with relevant procedures and industry standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications : Minimum of 1 year of experience in airline Ground Handling operations. High School Diploma or equivalent; additional experience demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, relationship building, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to travel up to 10% within the U.S. and Canada to support training needs. Ability to meet security clearance requirements and possess a valid driver's license. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate without direct authority. Proficiency with computer systems; Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred. Customer service mindset with a commitment to operational excellence. Flexibility to work various shifts, including off-peak hours, to meet training demands. Preferred experience in adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methodologies. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment. Skilled in developing and delivering engaging presentations, training materials, and slide decks.
