Test Engineer

Join our dynamic team to assist in creating simulations for off-highway equipment companies using Simulink and LabVIEW. Your role will involve troubleshooting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and ensuring the development of quality software and electrical components for off-highway vehicles and vehicle parts.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems.
  • Create and execute test strategies based on requirements.
  • Perform analysis and create comprehensive test reports based on testing results.
  • Analyze CAN logs to identify inconsistencies.
  • Utilize Simulink, Veristand, and NI LabVIEW software solutions to control HIL systems.
  • Interface with customers to develop and meet project requirements.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, software, or computer engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience with software testing.
  • Experience or understanding of CAN J1939 or other communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of Model Based Software Development (MATLAB / Simulink).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with TestStand and / or NI LabVIEW.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging software.
  • Experience with HIL (Hardware in the Loop) or SIL (Software in the Loop) testing.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and schematics.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the off-highway industry.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with embedded C / C++ programming.
  • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $48.08 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
