7 East is a 32 bed Medical / Surgical Unit that specializes in Neurology & Neurosurgery as well as Orthopedics. Diagnoses for our specialties include : Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Epilepsy & Seizures, brain & spinal procedures, and various orthopedic post-surgical patients. In addition to our specialties, we care for general Med / Surg patients with diagnoses such as AKI, ETOH / Opioid Withdrawal, AMS / Falls, Sepsis, DKA, & CHF! This unit is an excellent learning opportunity for new graduates and seasoned nurses alike looking to further their knowledge and clinical skills in Med / Surg with Neuro / Ortho specialties. We foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and acceptance and we emphasize educating our team to help them thrive.
