We are looking for an experienced Application Development Project Manager / Lead to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Specialized Consultant II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and managing training programs and talent initiatives tailored for IT professionals. This long-term contract position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to drive impactful learning solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with IT Talent Development Specialists and subject matter experts to design and deliver IT-focused training programs using diverse formats such as e-learning modules, instructor-led sessions, and interactive assessments.
  • Apply instructional design principles, including Agile frameworks and adult learning methodologies, to create engaging and scalable learning experiences.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, learner-friendly content through close collaboration with technical experts.
  • Develop curriculum maps, learning paths, and assessments that support skill development and career advancement within IT.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner profiles to tailor instructional strategies and solutions.
  • Utilize authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia to create high-quality interactive learning content.
  • Maintain and update technology training materials within the organization's Learning Management Systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend external training courses and platforms to enhance technology learning paths.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives through data analysis, feedback collection, and performance metrics, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensure all training materials adhere to accessibility standards and organizational branding requirements.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and development, particularly within IT-focused environments.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and Agile learning methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging training content.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and their maintenance.
  • Strong data analysis skills to evaluate learning effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
