NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. Our NeuroRestorative facility located in Oxnard, CA, is a fully licensed JCAHO accredited Congregate Living Healthcare (CLHF) facility that specializes in brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in-patient treatment in a residential home-like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes Neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care. We offer a variety of services including amputee care, complex wound care, G- and J- tube feedings, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, multiple IV Antibiotic therapy, pulmonary care, social & recreational activities, and more.

Assess speech and language skills, development, articulation ability and voice and fluency disorders of individuals served.Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallowing.Review medical records, test and evaluate individuals served and develop therapy treatment plans.Identify and develop intervention strategies.Instruct individuals we serve, family members, and primary caregivers to insure the maintenance of or to achieve the ideal functioning level for each person served.Insure effective coordination of individual’s served home care services.Setting and Rehab Team
Treat patients in an inpatient settingDevelop treatment plans focused on community independence and functional outcomes.Strong focus on cognitive rehabilitationThe rehab team consists of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy working alongside nursing services.Therapy-led administration.Patient Population
Adults with a variety of complex neurological injuries, spinal cord injuries, polytraumatic, and orthopedic injuriesQualifications :
Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech / Language PathologyCertificate of clinical competence from ASHAOne year experience as a Speech TherapistCurrent state licensure / certification as a Speech TherapistExperience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.Experience with dysphagia, and IDDSI diet.Valid driver’s license in good standingSuccessful clearance of local and / or state background checksEffective communication skills to manage relationshipsA reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approachA commitment to quality in everything you doAvailable to work during hours of operation (8am-6pm)Why Join Us?
