Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer for a long-term contract position based in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern Android development frameworks and tools, particularly with Kotlin, MVVM architecture, and Jetpack Compose.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.

Implement user interfaces and features following the MVVM architectural pattern.

Build modern, reactive UIs using Jetpack Compose.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of Android applications.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.

Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in Android development.

Required Skills :

Proven experience as an Android Developer.

Proficiency with Kotlin for Android application development.

Strong understanding and practical application of MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) architecture.

Expertise in building UIs with Jetpack Compose .

Knowledge of Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Prior experience working in an Agile development environment.
