Accounts Payable Specialist Description

Our client, a respected manufacturer near Tacoma, Washington, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the finance team. In this role, you'll process and manage a high volume of vendor invoices, coordinate wire and ACH payments, reconcile freight and expense reports, and serve as a key point of contact for vendor inquiries. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities

• Process weekly wire transfers and daily entries into ERP and banking platforms
• Review, code, and process freight and non-freight invoices for timely approval and payment
• Reconcile bills of landing and prepare monthly freight accruals
• Handle visa credit card reconciliation, expense coding, and data import
• Maintain and update ACH / wire payment templates; send remittance notices
• Serve as a vendor point of contact for payment discrepancies and missing invoices
• Request and reconcile vendor statements
• Organize and maintain AP files and records
• Monitor office supply inventory and place orders, including special requests
• Provide backup support for daily cash flow reconciliation
