About The Position

We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Oct 20, 2025. This 45-day contract features a set 20-hour-per-week schedule with morning and midday shifts Monday through Thursday. Candidates should have recent occupational health experience and the ability to work independently in a dynamic setting.

Provider Type Needed : Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant

Schedule : Monday : 6am-10am

Tuesday : 10am-2 : 30pm

Wednesday : 6am-10am

Thursday : 6am-10am and 10 : 30am-2 : 30pm

20 hours per week only, no exceptions

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide occupational health care services in accordance with established protocols

Perform clinical assessments, health screenings, and work-related injury evaluations

Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and safety standards

Additional Information

Active Physician Assistant license required in Illinois and Iowa

Board certification in Occupational Medicine required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Recent occupational health experience strongly preferred
