Therapy Technician

Therapy tech for outpatient Occupational, Physical, and Speech therapy Clinic.

The therapy technician assists therapists with tasks that are indirectly related to patient care including :

• performing administrative and clerical tasks
• cleaning equipment
• preparing treatment areas
• assisting patients in moving from room to room within the clinic
• cleaning and preparing treatment areas and equipment before and after each session
• ordering and arranging linen and supplies for the clinic

Education : High School Degree

Physical Requirements

Standing : Continuous

Pinching operations : Frequent

Lift / carry 50 lbs. unassisted : Infrequent

Maintain corrected vision 20 / 40 (one or both eyes) : Continuous

Effective stress management : Continuous
