About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, accounts receivable and payable, technical accounting, ERP implementation and management, external audits, and the development of best practices. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's financial integrity and compliance, and the VP of Accounting will be expected to champion the company's mission, vision, and values. Key responsibilities include leading the accounting team, managing the control environment, and serving as the primary technical accounting partner to the CFO. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a Master's degree and CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in progressive roles in industry, accounting, or finance is required, along with a proven track record of building and leading accounting teams. The role demands a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, great communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Experience with Netsuite and / or system implementation is also a plus.
