CBS Colorado has an immediate opening for an IT Technician to work in our fast-paced, live news environment!

The successful candidate will have a deep dedication to customer service, the ability to quickly fix in a Microsoft Active Directory environment, good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to learn new technologies as they become available. Experience with Virtual Machine technologies including VXRail / VMWare / ProxMox installations a plus. Experience with basic IP network technology a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Serve as first point of contact for desktop computer hardware, software, printers and Active Directory users and groups
• Work with users to resolve issues as they arise
• Administration of network resources across all departments
• Monitor health of critical computer systems
• Maintain software patches and desktop / server Antivirus software
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of computer systems
• Work with vendors to resolve issues
• Provide users with basic software training
• Manage mobile devices for users throughout the station
• Other duties assigned by Manager

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range : $65,000.00 - 70,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
