We’re looking for an experienced and highly organized Loan Processor to join our team at CrossCountry Mortgage . This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, deep mortgage knowledge, and a passion for delivering an exceptional borrower experience. You’ll be at the center of the loan process — driving files forward, coordinating with multiple parties, and ensuring smooth closings.

Compensation : 60,000 - $95,000

Responsibilities :

  • Manage loan files from submission through funding
  • Review, request, and process borrower documentation and loan conditions
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files in compliance with company and investor guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title / escrow officers, and real estate agents
  • Maintain up-to-date records and notes in Encompass and CRM systems (e.g., Jungo)
  • Keep the pipeline organized and proactively follow up on outstanding items

Qualifications :

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required
  • Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • At Least 4 years of current loan processing experience
  • 3+ years of recent mortgage processing experience
  • Proficiency with Encompass Loan Origination System
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of loan guidelines, disclosures, and investor overlays
  • Experience managing high-volume pipelines preferred
