HVAC Operations Manager - North Charleston
A local HVAC contractor is looking for a hardworking, driven HVAC Operations Manager to join our growing team and become an integral part of our company's future! This individual will be managing the installation and service operations, including the scheduling and dispatch of the crews ordering and purchasing equipment and materials, inventory stocking program, and overseeing the training and efficiency of installers. Clear and concise communications with company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-time. The Operations Manager oversees the adherence and enforcement of company's "No Will Call" policy, purchasing policy, discipline, hiring and termination with the General Manager. The Operations Manager is expected to handle all operational aspects of the commercial, service, and installation departments and to ensure its continued profitability and growth.

Qualifications :
- 5+ years management experience
- HVAC experience preferred
- Previous experience leading in both Service and Install departments
- Proven record in operations and business management success
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs
- Cognitive ability to comprehend the core fundamentals and operations of the business
- Detail-oriented, organized, and objective in decision-making
- Demonstrate ability to lead, mentor and train personnel as necessary
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products : Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Quickbooks and Service Titan software
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Duties Include :
Develop strategies to grow the business through superior sales execution and operational excellenceOversees design, delivery, and quality of products and services provided.Stays abreast of current trends related to the HVAC and construction industry and anticipates future trends likely to have an impact on the business.Collects and analyzes evaluation information that measures the success of the organization's program efforts; refines or changes programs in response to that information.Promote professionalism and pride in order to attract high-potential team membersProven ability to hire, develop and motivate employeesReviews analyses in activities, cost, operations and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectivesMonitor payables and receivables to assure optimum cash flowPromotes a culture that reflects the organization's values, encourages good performance, and rewards productivityPrudently manages the organization's resources within budget guidelinesOversee the office and field responsibilities of the installation departmentsEnsure that all sold jobs are scheduled on the company job board, checking the preliminary construction progress of all pending workCommunicate scheduling backlog to the sales force as necessaryAssist the office manager each month with the preparation of work in progressPerform other duties as assigned, which can fluctuate as needed
