Job Description

As Sr. Associate Counsel, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a diverse range of litigation and pre-litigation matters, as well as providing day-to-day legal advice to a variety of business units within the company. Litigation matters are likely to include class action lawsuits, breach of contract and other business disputes, and responding to third-party subpoenas and government requests. This role will report into Visa's Global Litigation & Competition team.

Responsibilities :

• Developing case strategy in partnership with business units and driving resolution of litigation disputes
• Managing outside counsel
• Reviewing and approving pleadings and motions, and attending court hearings and depositions
• Coordinating discovery, including collection and production of materials
• Providing legal advice to business functions on a wide variety of pre-litigation issues arising from business-as-usual activities
• Keeping Visa management and business units apprised of litigation developments and strategy

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 180,600.00 to 235,150.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
