ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Clackamas, OR 97015 (Portland metro area)

Healthcare Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Assignment Type : Travel nursing contract

Start Date : September 8, 2025

End Date : December 7, 2025

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2310 - $2470 ICU RN Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU nursing experience

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Oregon or compact state

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or related field

Preferred : 2+ years of recent ICU RN experience

Preferred : NIH Stroke Scale Certificate, CCRN certification, and experience with dialysis / SLED or equivalent ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Administer medications, manage life-support equipment, and respond to medical emergencies

Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
