Chief Development Officer
International Friendships, Inc. is a growing faith-based organization, whose mission is to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international college students. We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips. Our home office is based in Columbus, OH, and this position can be a work-from-home position from elsewhere in the U.S.
Expected work schedule for the Chief Development Officer :
- Full-time, flexible schedule
- Occasional evenings and / or weekends for specific events / projects
- Attendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff Retreats
Pay structure for a Chief Development Officer :
Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and some of the financial support needed to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expensesTraining is provided to develop a team of ministry partnersPay range is $73,868 - $150,641 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factorsChief Development Officer Benefits :

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Development Officer will play a strategic role in the organization's overall leadership and help guide the ministry's direction and strategyProvide ministry-wide direction of fundraising that supports IFI's entire ministry needs to advance our missionDesign, implement and oversee ministry-wide structures, systems, and processes to ensure the effectiveness of IFI's fundraising activitiesWork closely with the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Ministry Officer, building collaborative relationships with department heads to ensure cohesiveness between the International Student Ministry, Ministry Support and Fundraising functionsDirectly supervise development staff, acting as the primary liaison between the CEO and staff with fundraising responsibilities and will streamline and filter communications, objectives and directives required to ensure that all established IFI ministries are financially thrivingDevelop a culture of generosity and transformational giving based on Biblical values to involve each staff, board member and fundraising volunteer, and stimulate each one to give his / her bestSet up rules of engagement between donors to the national, local, and staff support fundraising levels to affirm the value in each level and build unity and an abundance cultureProvide general oversight of all of the organization's development activities, manage the day-to-day operations of the development function, and monitor adequacy of activitiesQualifications needed of a Chief Development Officer, including Spiritual Characteristics :
