This is a 6-month contract that could turn into something potentially longer located in the Plano area.
Monday to Friday
8am to 3pm
30 hours a week
35.00 to $39.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Duties & Required
Lead Dip / Salsa innovation projects through formulation and processing interaction.
Effectively manage projects and progress against key milestone, complete deliverables.
Partner with product scientists to define process designs & optimize process settings.
Drive quality improvements through optimization of processes and thermal process steps.
Utilize experimental design and data interpretation tools to make technically sound recommendations.
Provide trial and commercialization support to products at manufacturing facilities.
Capable of interacting with other employees to independently identify and organize resources for conducting experiments.
Capable of applying basic analytical measurements such as moisture, pH, color and viscosity (training will be provided).
Influence others through strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Required Skills :
Associate degree in Scienve or Engineering, or B.S., degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
Good knowledge of heat transfer, mass transfer, fluid flow, unit operations.
Some knowledge of experimental design, and product development preferable but not required.
Possess strong work ethic and ability to be a self-starter.
Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
Strong organization, documentation, and project management skills.
Demonstrated and adapts to change well with the personal leadership to influence and positively motivate self and peer.
Available to work during regular work hours.
