Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Party Chief to join our team. This role is ideal for a surveyor with a strong background in surveying, outside of the oil and gas industry, and for CAD technicians who are knowledgeable in plot plan designs, survey equipment, and survey standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct boundary and construction staking surveys, as well as ALTA surveys.

Utilize survey equipment and software to perform topographic and land surveys.

Lead and manage a one-person survey crew effectively.

Ensure compliance with survey standards and maintain accurate records.

Transition into more office-based work over the next few years, if desired.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 3 years of survey experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Ability to work independently and manage one-person crews.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a Party Chief for 2-3 years.

Willingness to learn new software if only experienced with Trimble.

Interest in residential and land development projects.

Work Environment

This position operates within an office environment in Colorado, working with a team of eight. Fieldwork requires direct reporting to project sites. Employees are provided a company vehicle and gas card. A guaranteed 40 hours per week is offered, even in winter months, with opportunities for CAD training. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00 / hr.
