Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our board and lead the next stage of our commercial growth. This is a pivotal leadership role in a high-growth, PE-backed business where sales, account management and marketing sit at the heart of our strategy.
As CCO, you will :
Unite and lead sales, account management and marketing into a single, powerful commercial strategyDrive ambitious revenue and EBITDA growthPlay a key role in shaping the firm's future with equity on offer for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute an integrated commercial strategy across sales, account management and marketingAlign plans with company growth objectives and continuously refine them to maximise revenue and profitabilityDrive innovation through creative and data-led approachesPerformance Management
Define and own KPIs for all commercial functionsImplement scalable processes and automation to systemise deliveryUse data to analyse pipeline performance, campaign ROI, conversion rates and customer feedbackContinuous Improvement & Growth Initiatives
Monitor market trends and emerging opportunitiesExperiment with new channels, approaches and structuresChallenge and evolve commercial processes to ensure they're fit for the futureStrategic Planning & Recurring Revenue
Build multi-year revenue and market expansion plansStrengthen and grow our subscription and recurring revenue modelsInfluence product and service development to achieve long-term goalsExecutive Collaboration
Act as a key member of the Board and executive teamPartner with the CEO and C-suite colleagues on overall company directionProvide commercial insight and report on performance at board levelQualifications & Experience
Proven Commercial Leader
10+ years in senior commercial roles (e.g. CCO, CRO, Sales or Marketing Director)Strong track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in scaling businessesSales & Account Management Expertise
Deep understanding of outbound and inbound sales enginesExperience of leading on the development of pro-active account management strategies that build revenue and reduce churnExperience building and scaling sales teams, implementing dashboards, and driving performance culturesMarketing & Brand Strategy Acumen
Ability to set and oversee a marketing vision that balances brand building with performance and growth objectives at scaleExperience providing strategic oversight of paid digital channels, SEO, and AI / LLM optimisation to drive high-quality lead generationData-Driven & KPI-Focused
