Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) AMS Consultant to lead and manage Application Management Services for a global client onsite in Chicago. The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP EWM functional knowledge, strong AMS delivery leadership, and proven experience handling transitions as a receiver. This role focuses on stabilizing operations, ensuring seamless support, and driving continuous improvements across a complex global EWM environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end AMS delivery for SAP EWM, ensuring operational stability and high-quality service.

Act as the primary business and IT stakeholder interface for EWM-related issues and enhancements.

Manage incident / problem / change processes with strong adherence to ITIL and AMS governance.

Drive transition activities as a receiver, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and support readiness.

Provide hands-on functional expertise in EWM (inbound, outbound, warehouse processes, RF, labor mgmt., slotting).

Collaborate with global teams to maintain integration with ECC / S / 4 and related systems.

Identify and implement process optimization opportunities for warehouse operations.

Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories to support ongoing operations.

Required Skills & Experience :

15–20 years of SAP experience with strong supply chain / logistics background.

Deep expertise in SAP EWM, including warehouse execution processes and system integration.

Proven leadership in AMS environments with distributed teams.

Strong transition management experience (as a receiver).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and issue-resolution skills.

Solid understanding of ITIL practices and global support models.

Experience with S / 4HANA EWM.

Exposure to automation / warehouse robotics integration.

Preferred Certifications :

SAP EWM certification(s).
