Our customer in South Bend, Indiana, is looking to add a Service Technician to its team. This is for a machine-building company, and this person will provide on-site support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the company's machinery at customer locations. This role will require extensive travel at times. The role will be a direct hire which includes benefits, paid vacation, bonuses, and 401k. Some core responsibilities include,

• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Work closely with customers to diagnose and repair machines.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as wiring and electrical / electronic components of machines.
• Layout, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair / replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related components.
