Intermediate Project Architect

Our clienta respected, design-forward architecture firm in New York Cityis seeking a talented Intermediate Project Architect to join their collaborative and creative studio. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects in a supportive, hands-on environment where your ideas are valued and your growth is prioritized.

About the Role

As an Intermediate Architect, you'll be a key contributor throughout the design and delivery process. You'll help translate creative concepts into technical excellence, coordinate with consultants, conduct site surveys, and shape spaces that are both beautiful and buildable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop design drawings, construction documents, and coordination sets
  • Collaborate with consultants to ensure seamless integration across disciplines
  • Conduct site surveys, prepare due diligence reports, and perform building code reviews
  • Translate design intent into detailed, buildable solutions
  • Support Construction Administration : site visits, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and team members
  • Present design and technical ideas to internal teams and clients
  • Contribute to marketing efforts and client presentations

Qualifications

  • 410 years of professional architectural experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, codes, and standards
  • Field experience on construction sites
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and integrity
  • Bonus Points

  • Experience in Workplace, Retail, or Media / Broadcast projects
  • Strong hand sketching skills
  • Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating consultants
  • Portfolio featuring high-end workplace or media environments

  • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00 / hr.
