Job Description :

We are looking for a hard-working Transformer Shop Helper to join the Xcel Energy team in Henderson Colorado! In this position you will be required to complete a structured training program and perform all aspects of Transformer Shop operation and maintenance. The applicant must be committed to working safely be self-motivated and work well with others.

Minimum Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Have the ability to be respirator qualified and pass confined space training.
• Be physically capable of performing the requirements of the classification. (Working at height working in confined spaces lifting digging etc.)
• Possess good mathematic verbal mechanical and written skills.
• Must have passed or successfully pass the EEI Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) selection test.
• Selection criteria may include testing and / or assessment.

Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is : $33.85 per hour
