o ya restaurant is hiring a Host!

Our award-winning, contemporary Japanese restaurant in the Leather District, is hiring a host that would ideally work in the space 3-5 days per week. This is an opportunity to join a small but dynamic team dedicated to curating a special experience for each of our guests.

Responsibilities include all elements of making and confirming reservations, printing nightly menus, making / issuing gift cards, welcoming guests to the space and to their table, coat check, and anticipating and fulfilling our guests’ needs. Experience with Japanese cuisine, fine dining, and Tock (or similar reservation system) is strongly preferred; however, we are seeking first and foremost a genuinely gracious individual with a warm, service-oriented attitude.
