Business Development Coordinator - Land Development

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Coordinatorto join our Land Development team in the DFW area. The primary responsibilities for the Business Development Coordinator include implementing the strategic plan and business development initiatives for the commercial, institutional, and residential markets. Westwood is looking for a self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with directors, service leaders, project managers, and market leaders to develop market sector business development strategies.
- Leads client pursuit identification and due diligence. Researches, identifies, and initiates contact with prospective clients to build relationships and obtain project opportunities. Identifies and evaluates client opportunities, strength, stability, project quality, and reputation in the market.
- Responsible for managing client relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Responsible for selling all aspects of the represented business unit / market.
- Tracks business development opportunities and activities using the company CRM platform.
- Strategizes and plans client presentations.
- Manages event calendar (industry events, professional organization events, firm hosted events).
- Assist with the coordination of firm events (attendees, sending invites, and event information).
- Manages Professional Organization roster, memberships, sponsorships, and event participation across the company.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on marketing material and website updates.
- Maintains client holiday gift list, communicates qualification for receiving a gift, assists with gift selection, and procures gifts.
- Assist with tracking of the business development budget and payment coordination.
- Manages sports ticket distribution and accounting.

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.2+ years of demonstrated ability in building and maintaining a stable network within the AEC industry.Proven development of business relationships and strategic community involvement.Previous experience in Business Development, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or other role in the AEC industry.Preferred Experience
Previous experience working with AEC clients in the DFW market.
