Job Title : Information Technology Support, Level One

Location : MPC Office

Limited Travel

Terms : Permanent Full-Time

About us : Mobile Primary Care is a home-based primary care practice that specializes in geriatric healthcare,

primarily serving the Western Counties of New York State.

About the Role : The Information Technology Department within Mobile Primary Care offers a diverse range of both opportunities and responsibilities. This position supports all office personnel, all remote associates and the full clinical team assembled to provide great care for both our home limited patients as well as our patient census that visits our office setting. Additionally, this position is critical to both supporting as well as helping to grow Mobile Primary Care’s various telemedicine solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Medent support

Medent Server / Cloud Faxing / Support

  • General Medent support (user account setups and access distribution)
  • Identrust :
  • Controlled substance platform (Providers) EPCS registration and support

  • Support of Vendor EMRs.
  • Info Clique : Support staff with Kaleida based systems.

  • Visual EMR
  • Hover Phone System - Admin Center
  • New User Setups

  • Hover System Customization
  • Away Messages and voicemail monitoring
  • Company Relationship with Hover Support
  • Hover Data Reports
  • Throughcare Care Management Software :
  • Act as the Admin for the Support Portal

  • Responsible for IT / Tech needs of all new hire set-ups
  • Hardware
  • Software Credentials
  • Account Creation
  • Deployment
  • Orientation on platforms (Medent, VPN, Outlook, Hover)
  • Training (Medent, VPN, Outlook, Hover)
  • Teaching
  • Responsible for managing all software / platform access updates (add and delete)
  • Trouble Shooting
  • Troubleshooting windows and apple-based systems.

  • Ability to create and manage a repair log.
  • Manage the IT email.
  • Ticketing System :
  • Manage the Ticket System

  • Log Received Tickets
  • Resolv or Escalate Where Needed
  • Technology Vendor Partners; ie : ROAN Systems :
  • IT Network Support (ie : ROAN) Manage Vendor Relationships

  • Schedule bi-weekly meetings
  • Track Projects
  • Other :
  • Ability to learn and implement different repair techniques (There are multiple EMRs but they tend to have the same issues)

  • Track and monitor Virtual private networks ( at least 1 year )
  • VPN Account Creation
  • Manage Inventory
  • Social Media Executions and Updates
  • Vista Print Relationship
  • Current technology platforms / software, currently at use within MPC :
  • New Technology Updates

  • Familiar and aware of all new updates and functionality
  • Required Skills and Experience

  • 1 Year Experience in a support role
  • 1 year or more experience working with any ticket-based system.
  • 1 year or more experience with troubleshooting windows based operating systems. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking
  • 1 years’ experience Installing and configuring software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
  • Excellent Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • 1 year or more experience with Apple based OS on the following platforms iOS, iPadOS and macOS
  • 1 year or more working with office 365
  • Ideal candidate can perform the job's physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations. The ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain and demonstrate technical details to a non - technical audience.
