Legal Technology Specialist

The Legal Technology Specialist supports the adoption and effective use of legal technology tools across the firm. Working under the direction of the Legal Technology Supervisor within the Center of Excellence (“CoE”), this role is responsible for assisting with user onboarding, providing hands-on training, supporting basic customizations, and promoting day-to-day usage of legal technology products. The specialist will work directly with lawyers and business professionals to ensure that tools are aligned with user needs and embedded into practice workflows.

Knowledge Management Systems

• Implement procedures for capturing, filtering, storing, accessing and disseminating materials and information, including model forms and precedents
• Design and manage practice area knowledge portals (SharePoint) to ensure they provide an up-to-date repository of group knowledge and resources
• Work with the Innovation and Practice Solutions group and KM Lawyers / Practice Support Lawyers (PSLs) to support a strategic approach to our KM systems
• Provide 1 : 1 training on the Firm’s KM systems and relevant practice technology to new lawyers

Administrative Support

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.
