Maintenance Technician – Cabin Specialty (A&P Required)

Role Overview
A full-time Maintenance Technician – Cabin Specialty is needed to support the inspection, repair, and maintenance of aircraft interior systems. This role is essential to ensuring cabin safety, comfort, and readiness, while also assisting with general aircraft maintenance tasks as required. The ideal candidate has hands-on interior experience, strong troubleshooting ability, and an active A&P license .
Occasional travel is required for offsite maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on interior cabin components, including :
Seats, upholstery, and seat mechanisms
Window shades and blinds
Galley equipment and refrigeration units
Cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes
Support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
Assist with interior inspections required by FAA and manufacturer guidelines
Document all maintenance actions per FAA regulations and company procedures
Communicate and coordinate cabin readiness with pilots, maintenance control, and operations
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in safe and serviceable condition
Travel as needed to perform offsite cabin or interior maintenance
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Active FAA A&P License
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Valid U.S. Passport
Proven experience with aircraft interior systems (cabin furnishings, galleys, lighting, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical / electrical cabin repairs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with Part 135 operations
Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated cabin areas
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Experience with business jet interiors , such as :
Challenger 300 / 600 series
Premier 1A or similar platforms
Experience with interior refurbishment or modification projects
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in tight cabin spaces
Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and maintenance equipment
Tools
Technician must supply their own basic toolset
Specialty and calibrated tools will be provided by the company
