Description

The Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care by protecting, promoting, and optimizing health; preventing illness and injury; and alleviating suffering through diagnosing and treating human responses. The RN is responsible for adhering to the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services policies, ANA Scope and Standards, the Nursing Code of Ethics, and the Bill of Patient Rights.

The RN fosters a caring and healing environment while remaining accountable for professional practice and ongoing development.
