Position : Systems Administrator - location Satellite office in East Rutherford, NJ
Direct Recruit Agency is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems and servers. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Looking for someone well-versed in Linux administration, Linux connectivity, and troubleshooting - minimum 5 years of experience

- Technical lead by providing high-level support for all Client Bank critical systems and applications with zero or minimal downtime
- Oracle (Solaris) and Red Hat Linux Virtualizations,
- IBM WebSphere (versions from 3.X, 4.x, 5.x, 6, x and 8.X) on both Solaris and Linux,
- IBM MQ (versions from 5.X, 6.X and 9.X) on both Solaris and Linux,
- TREP (Thompson Reuters Enterprise Platform), RMDS (Reuters Markets Data System), DACS, Wombat Refinitiv
- Storage Provisioning using Client (3PAR) administration
- OS and Application Monitoring using FogLight and BMC Patrol
- Backup using Commvault, Veritas NetBackup (using Symantec appliances).
- Server provisioning using Client Opsware.
- Users and Server access provisioning using CentrifyDC.
Informatica experience, hands-on on installation, what it is / how it runs.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applicationsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arisePerform regular backups and ensure data is secure and retrievableManage user accounts, permissions, and access rightsMaintain system documentation and keep it up-to-dateIdentify and implement system improvements to enhance performance and reliabilityStay up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for system upgradesCollaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issuesProvide technical support and guidance to end-usersEnsure compliance with security protocols and proceduresManage hardware and software inventory and make recommendations for purchasesCreate and maintain system reports for managementQualifications :
