We are seeking a driven, community-minded individual to join our team as an independent Insurance Agent. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about making a tangible local impact. You’ll sell insurance products and spearhead initiatives that address community needs, positioning our agency as a trusted ally. Compensation :

$66,000 at plan commission

Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage a book of business by offering tailored insurance solutions
• Participate in, sponsor, or volunteer for community events that align with our values
• Stay informed about industry developments and ensure compliance with regulations
• Leverage social media and local media to highlight community initiatives and client stories
• Manage day-to-day operations, including marketing, sales, and customer service

About Company

On May 1, 1947, a group of Idaho farmers and ranchers founded an insurance company. This company was grounded in the belief that neighbors should help neighbors. Because of this, we have built a customer-centered culture that has helped us develop stronger through decades of change.

In our humble beginnings, we offered only auto insurance from our Pocatello office. Subsequent generations of employees and agents, guided by the founders’ beliefs, built the company into what it is today : the largest writer of farm and ranch insurance in Idaho and the largest insurance company wholly based in Idaho.

In 2024, Western Community Insurance—Farm Bureau Mutual started offering insurance products in the state of Washington.
