RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details :

• Work in a 22-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with standard equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Handle patient ratios of up to 6 : 1 maximum
• Must have acute med / surg experience of 1+ years within the last year
• Must be able to care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Preferred : 2+ years experience working with Neuro patients including CVAs, TIAs, AMS
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion / maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, continuous bladder irrigation, and NGT insertion / maintenance
• Provide care for medical / surgical patients with focus on patient-centered, team-focused approach
• Communicate effectively with all members of care team and maintain documentation in EHR
• May float to other med / surg units as needed
• Scrubs required as dress code
• Must maintain friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality
• RN certification required

This medical center operates a comprehensive medical surgical telemetry unit located on the 3rd floor East wing. The facility maintains modern standards with typical medical equipment and utilizes Meditech EMR system for patient documentation. The unit is staffed with experienced healthcare professionals including charge nurses, registered nurses, patient care assistants, and support staff to ensure quality patient care around the clock.
