What this job involves : The Building Maintenance Specialist supports JLLs commitment to exceptional client service by maintaining facility operations with specialized expertise in carpentry drywall repair and furnishing installation / maintenance. This role ensures facilities remain functional aesthetically pleasing and aligned with JLLs high standards of quality and safety. This position is also responsible for the general maintenance of an office / lab environment and works daily with the Operations and Maintenance teams to provide excellent customer service to our client.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Execute skilled carpentry work including framing finish carpentry cabinet installation and woodworking repairs to maintain building integrity
• Perform drywall installation patching finishing and texturing to uphold facility appearance standards
• Install repair relocate and maintain office furnishings and fixtures according to client specifications
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and respond to work orders in accordance with service level agreements
• Troubleshoot and resolve general maintenance issues across multiple building systems
• Experience with door repairs a plus (Automatic Operators Hand Wave Sensors)
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and material usage
• Adhere to JLL safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule and respond to after-hours emergencies
• Support sustainability initiatives through proper waste disposal and efficient resource utilization

Work Schedule : Monday through Friday 3pm - 11pm with overtime and on-call responsibilities

Salary / Comp : $33.65 - $43.27 per hour depending on experience

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications location market conditions and internal considerations.
