Summary :

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients referred and provides instructions and assistance to patient's families as indicated.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluates and treats patients referred and provides instructions and assistance to patient's families as indicated.
  • Effectively works with and supervises physical therapist assistants and students.
  • Provides documentation for medical records / insurance needs.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age.
  • Other duties as required.

Other information : Technical Expertise

  • Experience in physical therapy is required.
  • Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

    • Education and Experience

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required. Masters or Doctorate preferred.
  • Certification : Ohio Physical Therapist licensure is required.
  • Years of relevant experience : 3 to 5 years is preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising : None.
