Preschool Instructional Assistant

Description

Looking for a vibrant, faith filled instructional assistant to join our team of early childhood professionals. The ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to academic excellence in the pre-primary level. Interested candidates must be team players who are willing to collaborate with the preschool teacher and director to enhance our program.

The candidate must be very well versed in the use of technology.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in Catholic schools
• A minimum of 6 units in early childhood development; 15 units preferred
• CPR / First Aid training certificate
• A minimum of 6 months of preschool classroom experience
• Must have strong communication and classroom management skills
• Must meet all regulations set by the state licensing commission for preschool centers

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
