Overview

The Client Growth Strategy Manager leads strategic affiliate marketing initiatives for advertiser accounts at CJ (formerly Commission Junction). The role partners with cross?functional teams to design, execute, and optimize affiliate programs that drive revenue growth and market presence for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep client relationships and understand advertiser marketing objectives to create impactful affiliate strategies.
  • Lead a team of affiliate marketers, ensuring timely execution and effective delivery of program initiatives.
  • Pitch CJ products and solutions, gaining client adoption to meet business goals.
  • Serve as the trusted client advisor, conveying CJ value proposition and acting as escalation partner.
  • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Accounting, and Technology teams to define platform enhancements and drive client success.
  • Forecast revenue growth accurately, identifying growth opportunities and risks.
  • Create and share best?practice content, tools, and thought leadership with clients and internal resources.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex program and technical challenges in partnership with cross?departmental teams.
  • Mentor associate team members, coaching and fostering professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital performance marketing or related marketing role.
  • Strong strategic thinking, able to develop thoughtful affiliate growth strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship?building skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross?functionally with Product, Analytics, Accounting, and Technology teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience.
  • Creative problem?solving skills, capable of influencing and negotiating client strategies that incorporate affiliate best practices.
  • Passion for innovation and technology, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
