Overview

Executive Search Associates is conducting a search for a Director of Nursing for a 100+ bed hospital in Northern North Carolina.

The Director of Nursing holds direct accountability for all patient care activities conducted within the facility round the clock. They offer guidance, supervision, and assessment for all patient care aspects. Additionally, they oversee the organization and execution of management systems, facility policies, procedures, and programs. Coordination of Nursing Service activities with facility administration, community agencies, physicians, families, consultant personnel, and ancillary service personnel is also within their purview. Furthermore, they take on the responsibility of ensuring nursing service compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lastly, they handle other departmental tasks and oversee assigned sections on a 24-hour basis.

Requirements :

• 3 years of nursing experience
• 1 year supervisory experience
