Full Job Description
Twenty-four-year Food Network veteran, cookbook author and celebrated chef Tyler Florence is currently hiring for his steak house, Miller & Lux, located adjacent to the Golden State Warriors Arena in San Francisco.
High End San Francisco Steak House is seeking ambitious Servers (Captains) to join our team. This truly is a one-of-a kind restaurant, that embodies the owner’s dynamic style and personality with its classy, lush atmosphere and an amazing menu. Looking for versatile, experienced Captains to step in and lead our team with a positive, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities :
Continually strive to further education as it relates to food, beverage, and serviceMaintain a strong floor presence and interact with guestsCreate a positive and fun working environment consistent with company valuesDevelop a positive, lasting relationship with guestsTake ownership of the business to increase sales and profitabilityLead by example by providing excellent hospitality and service at all timesAnticipate the needs of the restaurant and act upon themBe knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.Qualifications :
Minimum 3+ years of comparable experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAcute attention to detailEffective problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentExceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safetyFlexible schedule, including weekends, and on HolidaysFood Safety CertificationAble to stand / walk for long periods of timeDevelops relationships with guests to create & maintain guest retentionExperience in dealing with very high end / VIP clienteleStrong computer literacy, administrative skills, and high-level organizationProcess driven and able to implement operating procedures that will continue to maximize efficiencyCompensation Package Includes :
