Company / Industry : Mid-size international freight forwarder

Locations : Springfield Gardens, NY

Salary : Commensurate with experience + benefits

Status : Direct Hire, FT, On-site Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

• Working directly with the team to clear shipments through U.S. customs and Other Government Agencies.
• Ensuring timely customs clearances and accurate billing.
• Review import paperwork for accuracy and communicate to clients for any missing information required for customs clearance.
• Prepare all documentation per company's SOP and per government regulations.
• Submit Importer Security Filing (ISF) for shipments being imported via Ocean Carriers.

Qualifications

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $55,000.00 - $75,000.00
