Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Inner Bloom Psychiatric Services is seeking an empathetic and enthusiastic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate proficiency in safe and affirming care in mental health. This role requires the ability to perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide high-quality care while working to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health and and optimizing shared decision-making with clients.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and trauma-informed care.

Conduct thorough psychiatric examinations and mental health assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.

Provide comprehensive and evidence-based medication management and prescribing of psychotropic medications.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic illnesses.

Utilize EMR system for efficient patient record management.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health.

Active and unencumbered APRN license in the state of Ohio.

Experience in emergency or psychiatric nursing preferred.

ANCC board certification.

DEA license (or willingness to obtain)

Proficiency in ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding and CPT coding is advantageous.

Familiarity with telehealth practices and EHR systems is a plus.

Experience working with trauma, neurodiversity, and LGBTQIA+ populations preferred

Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.

Ability to work autonomously and independently with capability of collaboration
