Responsibilities The Data Analyst role within the Business Analytics and Insights team supporting Financial Operations, offers an excellent opportunity to leverage technical and analytical expertise to create impactful reporting solutions that drive key business decisions. If you are passionate about data, collaboration, and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply. Key responsibilities include : Extract, transform, and load data to build and maintain automated reports and analytics solutions. Utilize coding skills (e.g., SQL, Python, Qlik, DAX) following structured, well-documented practices for data management, transformation, and analysis. Build, automate, troubleshoot, and maintain recurring reporting tasks and technical data analytic solutions, including design, coding, testing, and implementation. Collaborate with business clients and leadership at various levels to analyze data, ensure report accuracy, and maintain report viability. Support migration and modernization of data assets and BI reporting tools from traditional sources to cloud-based architectures. Support reporting and insights for procurement and expense operations related to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms. Including two key applications : Source to Pay and Contract Lifecycle Management. Be adaptable and available outside standard work hours when required to meet critical business needs. Required Skills A proactive self-starter with a natural curiosity to explore data, ask insightful questions, and stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in data analysis and coding. Demonstrated learning agility to quickly acquire new technical skills and adapt to evolving business requirements. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with upstream data owners, downstream business users, and cross-functional teams such as Engineering and Enterprise Technology. Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Experience with cloud and big data technologies such as AWS Console, Starburst, DBeaver, Athena, S3, Redshift, and Iceberg table formats. Skilled in developing relational and conformed data assets, managing large data volumes, and optimizing performance. Strong knowledge of data transformation, cleansing, error handling, data modeling, validation techniques, and impact analysis related to schema changes and data pipelines. Power BI power user with expertise in report / dashboard development, Power Query, and DAX expressions. Familiarity or willingness to learn advanced features including CoPilot integration. Advanced skills in Excel and SharePoint, with experience in configuration management. Experience with low-code development and support using Power Apps. Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable business insights. Experience working with key business metrics and KPIs across multiple stakeholders. Critical thinking skills to develop innovative solutions that improve reporting and data processes. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Experience contributing to and / or leading data modernization and migration initiatives. Hybrid Work Locations : Bloomington, IL - Dunwoody, GA - Richardson, TX or Tempe, AZ locations. Hybrid Work arrangement : A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in the office and from their home. Work arrangements could change over time based on business need. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Nice to have - Master's degree (completed or in progress) in relevant field. Nice to have - Technical certifications in relevant skill sets desired. Nice to have – Purchasing / Procurement experience. Additional information :
