Thanks to our growth, we are adding a GIS Professional with an emphasis on providing hydrographer services to our team with locations in Kansas City, Kansas, and on the East Coast. This person will interact with other industry professionals throughout the US. A high-energy leader with a passion for GIS and hydrography will thrive in this role!

This position will provide data collection and processing services on lakes, land, and rivers throughout the US. Some projects are local, while others will require approximately 2-4 days + / - of travel per month.

Compensation :

45,000 - $80,000 yearly depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities :

• Analyze and interpret survey data using specialized software and ArcGIS Pro to create detailed maps and reports for clients and internal use.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan survey missions, set objectives, and meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices to guarantee the safety of the survey team and equipment during field operations.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, including sonar devices, GPS systems, and data recorders, to ensure accuracy in data collection.
• Conduct hydrographic surveys in bodies of water to measure and map the sea floor topography and identify any potential hazards.
