Anchor QEA is a water related environmental and engineering company focusing on the protection and restoration of coastlines the development of port and harbor infrastructure marina improvements and navigation related projects. Experience with coastal engineering concepts such as beneficial use of dredged material shoreline protection living shorelines marsh restoration and engineering with nature and nature based solutions are preferred. Experience with water resources concepts such as hydrology water quality and dam removal are also preferred as is proficiency using CAD GIS and / or programming languages such as python.

Anchor QEA is currently looking for a Staff Coastal Engineer with 0-3 years of experience in coastal engineering and design for our Corpus Christi or Rockport Texas office.

Responsibilities :

• Support engineering design projects with a focus on the coastal environment
• Assist in developing data collection plans for surveying geotechnical exploration and environmental data
• Conduct analysis and numerical modeling of coastal processes such as currents waves storm surge sediment transport morphology and wave-current-structure interaction.
• Perform engineering analysis preliminary and detail design of coastal and marine facilities
• Assist in developing plans specifications and construction documents on projects
• Perform costs estimating on projects during the design phase
• Work with sub-consultants and team members and assure quality control of work throughout project execution
• Periodic construction oversight for regional projects
• Support report and technical memorandum development
