Job Description :

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a litigation environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Drafting and / or proofreading correspondence pleadings and discovery materials
  • Managing calendars deadlines and court schedules
  • Filing documents in state and federal courts
  • Communicating with clients experts and opposing counsel
  • Organizing case files and medical records
  • Supporting attorneys with trial preparation and administrative tasks

Qualifications :

  • Prior legal experience preferred (litigation experience a plus)
  • Strong writing grammar and editing skills
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Microsoft Office Adobe Acrobat and case management software (Experience with Filevine a plus)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
